Houseboat Booking Requirements
To rent a Shasta Lake Houseboat, the primary renter must be at least 25 years old, with a valid driver’s license and a credit card for payment. We also require a refundable security deposit at the time of booking to cover any damages or additional charges.
Houseboat Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in for Houseboats on Shasta Lake begins at 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, but it is subject to availability and prior approval.
Houseboat Operation
While our Shasta Lake Houseboats are easy to navigate, we do require that renters receive a brief orientation on how to operate the boat before departure. Our staff will provide this orientation and answer any questions you have to ensure your safety and comfort.
Houseboat Capacity
Each houseboat has a specific capacity based on its size and configuration. Please ensure that your group does not exceed the houseboat’s occupancy limits for safety and comfort. If you have a larger group, we recommend renting additional houseboats.
