Holiday Harbor Resort and Marina was established with one simple mission—to provide guests with the ultimate experience on Shasta Lake.

Getting here: Directions to Holiday Harbor
Finding your way here is easy. We’re located in a beautiful and accessible part of Shasta Lake. Situated just one mile off Interstate 5, we’re conveniently located for visitors traveling from nearby cities, including Redding, Chico, Sacramento, San Francisco, Reno and even easily reachable for guests from Oregon and Washington.
From Redding, CA we’re just 18 miles north on I-5 via Exit 695 (O’Brien/Shasta Caverns Road). For visitors from Sacramento, we’re less than 3 hours drive, and from San Francisco, just under a 4 hour drive north, making it a convenient option for a weekend getaway.
Private Moorage on Shasta Lake
For those who own their own boats, Holiday Harbor’s Marina on Shasta Lake offers more than 400 boat slips in a variety of sizes to accommodate boats of all types. Whether you need a slip for a month or even a year, our marina is the perfect place to moor your boat and enjoy incredible views of the nearby mountains.
Our Marina is conveniently located and provides easy access to the lake’s waters, allowing you to launch and dock your boat with ease. We offer both covered and uncovered slips, and our marina is equipped with all the amenities you need, including fuel, fresh water, and pump-out stations. If you prefer a seasonal slip or want a long-term mooring solution, we’ve got you covered with flexible rental options.

At Holiday Harbor, we understand that sometimes you just need to pick up a few things before heading out on the water. Located on-site at the resort, our General Store offers a wide variety of essentials and unique souvenirs, ensuring you can make the most of your stay without having to leave the marina.
Our store features a large selection of fishing tackle for those looking to catch the “big one,” as well as fresh bait, and other supplies. We also offer ice, beer, wine, snacks, and a large assortment of ice cream treats. It’s the perfect place to pick up anything you might need for your houseboat trip or a day out on the water.
And for those looking for something to remember their trip by, our Gift Shop offers unique t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, souvenirs and keepsakes that capture the essence of Shasta Lake.

Our Harbor Cafe opens for the season on Memorial Day weekend and closes after Labor Day, offering a variety of meals to suit your tastes. Start your day with a hearty country breakfast, perfect for fueling up before hitting the water for some skiing, fishing, or wakeboarding. We also offer an all-you-can-eat salad bar for those who prefer a lighter meal and want to enjoy the fresh air while overlooking the stunning harbor.
The Harbor Cafe is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy great food with friends and family. Whether you’re fueling up for a day of adventure or winding down after a long day on the water, our café has something for everyone.
